A FREE informal get together for Filmmakers and Artists from across the South East.

A chance to build networks, share your work, hear about arts activities and develop collaborative work. There is always an opportunity to show people your work and hear about funding opportunities.

Documentary Filmmaking Course

A one day practical course in learning about the roles and responsibilities for an art department. Get prepped and ready for your first day on set. 

This course will also cover the use of props and set dressing. 

Date: Sunday 14th July 2019

SCRIPT SATURDAY

FOR 11-19 YEAR OLDS*

Documentary Filmmaking Course

The film, City of Children, is set in the future about a refugee camp in the UK for people under the age of 18. It will be shot in and around Beaconsfield for 7 days between the 3rd and 16th of August.

This Script Saturday will be an opportunity to audition for the film. Come along at 1pm or 2pm on the 13th July in the YES Shop, Queensmere Shopping Centre, Slough High Street, SL1 1LN

Supported by Youth Engagement Slough, Slough Borough Council, Pinewood Studios, Film Hub South East.

INTO FILM CLUB

FOR 11-19 YEAR OLDS*

Film Club/ Script Saturdays

Every Monday 5pm - 6.30pm (Excl Bank Holidays) 

Learn about the world of film and explore what it takes to get into the industry. Opportunities include; practical filmmaking, work placements and experience on a film set.

For 16-19 year olds!
 
 BFI FILM ACADEMY 2019/2020

Are you 16-19? Passionate about film?  
If so, the BFI Film Academy is for you!

As a student on the BFI Film Academy, you will:

  •  Get hands-on filmmaking experience
  • Work in teams to make a film
  • Get a film qualification
  • Events and talks with industry proffessionals
  • Watch a range of cinema
  • BAFTA careers talks
  • Explore your own creativity
  • Develop practical knowledge and skills

 

Dates:

Shepperton Course: 28th October – 1st November 2019 (every day)

Pinewood Course: 11th January – 8th February 2020 (Saturdays only)

Our aim is to connect freelancers from make-up artists and production accountants to camera operators and editors with new contacts, networks, job opportunities and training.
